Tampil dengan kualitas tertinggi dari Series 13 sebelumnya, Iphone Pro Max dibekali dengan layar OLED berukuran 6,7 inci dengan refresh rate hingga 120 Hz. Ukuran layar ini menjadi salah satu keunggal dari Iphone 13 Pro Max dibandingkan dengan Iphone 13 dan Iphone 13 Pro yang hanya dibekali dengan layar berukuran 6,1 inci. Sementara untuk Iphone 13 Mini hanya dibekali dengan layar berukuran 5,4 inci.
Sama seperti series Iphone 13 sebelumnya, Iphone 13 Pro Max juga ditenagai dengan Chip Apple A15 Bionic dengan operasi sistem terbaru yakni IOS 15.
